Shish chicken kebab

Kebabs are very familiar in middle east and almost cooked over a charcoal fire, there are many variations in this recipe. Here I used grill pan to grill the kebabs.
Chicken boneless cubes - 300 gm
yellow, orange, red & green bell pepper seeded and cut into squares - few
onion chunks - few
olive oil - 1 tbsp
melted butter - 1 tbsp.
for the marinade:
olive oil - 1 tbsp
2 garlic cloves and
one small onion nicely crushed
mint or oregano  crushed - 1 tsp
paprika powder - 1/2 tsp
lemon juice - 1 tbsp
salt and pepper to taste .

Serves 2

Steps to follow:
Blend all the ingredients said above for marinade, mix the chicken pieces.

Cover and keep this in fridge overnight .
Then take outside and mix the peppers and onion cubes.Thread the cubes of chicken on to skewers alternating with pieces of peppers and onions.

Apply 1 tbsp olive in the grill pan.Pan grill the kebabs for 10 -15 minutes basting with butter.

Serve hot with kubus (pita bread) & hamus. Enjoy!

Lovely starters, most importantly you don't need a tandoor to cook this
