boneless chicken - 400 - 500 gm
dried red chilli - 3 or 1 tsp red chilli powder( or add up to your spice level)
garlic cloves - 5- 6
vinegar - 1 tsp or lime juice to taste
thick fresh yogurt - 1 tbsp
edible red colour - pinch
Olive oil or butter - 1 tbsp
salt - to taste .
Steps to follow:
Grind dried red chilli, vinegar,garlic and yogurt nicely.
In a bowl add chicken pieces, ground paste,pinch red colour and salt to taste.Mix and marinate for 2-4 hours in refrigerator.
Preheat the electric oven to medium temperature , thread on the chicken pieces into skewers and brush with oil or butter.
Turning occasionally until cooked and brown all over.
Now the garlic chicken tikka is ready to serve.
Serve with fresh vegetables or with your favourite dips or sauces and any variety of bread. Enjoy !
