On this day I started this blog two years back. Now it 's going successfully.I want to thank all my blogger friends and readers for visiting & encouraging me with your lovely comments and support. To celebrate this happy occasion I have made healthy oats burfi.
oats - 1 and 1/2 cup or 2 cups
sugar - 1 cup
water - 50 ml
cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
rose essence - 1 tsp
ghee - 3 tsp.
Steps to follow:
Powder the oats and keep it aside.
Boil water and sugar together on medium heat keep stirring continuously.
Add cardamom and rose essence.
When the syrup becomes consistent, add the oats a few tablespoon at a time.Mix well to remove lumps.
Add ghee and continue to cook, stirring continuously to prevent burning. When the mix becomes thick, remove from heat.
Transfer immediately to the greased tray.
Sprinkle grated coconuts and nuts is optional.Cut into desired shape and allow it to cool completely.
Yummy oats burfi is ready. Enjoy !
