Tuna Chickpeas Tikki / Kebab

 This is quick and ideal dish for a light snack or also can be served as a starter.

tinned tuna - half cup
cooked chick peas - half cup
egg - 1
finely chopped onion - medium size 1
finely chopped green chilli - 1
finely chopped coriander leaves - 1 -2 tbsp
ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
garam masala - quarter tsp
pepper powder,cumin powder, chilli powder, fennel powder - each quarter tsp
salt - to taste
oil - for shallow frying 2 or 3 tbsp

Serves - 4

Steps to follow:
Soak the chickpeas 6-8 hours,pressure cook for 4 whistles drain and blend it and keep aside.
Then in a bowl combine drained tuna, blended  chickpeas,chopped onion,green chilli,coriander leaves,gg paste, all masala powders,egg and salt to taste. Mix well. Divide the mixture into equal balls and keep aside.
Heat oil in shallow fry pan. Shape each balls into round shape and shallow fry the tikkis /Kebabs in a medium flame till both sides turn to golden brown colour.

Drain on  a kitchen paper and serve warm or hot.
They make an excellent starter, served with salad garnish and also side dish for fried rice ,pulav, briyani etc..
