Thai Dessert - Gluoy Bwod Chee - Banana in Coconut Milk


 Ingredients:
thick Coconut milk - 400 ml
semi ripened banana - 2
vanilla essence - 4 drops
palm sugar or granulated sugar - 3 tbsp
roasted grated coconut or fresh - 1 tbsp - to garnish.

Serves - 2 - 3.

Steps to follow:
 Peel and cut the banana half lengthwise and again cut into 2 inch size pieces.
 In a sauce pan mix coconut milk,vanilla essence and sugar . Reduce the flame to low.Transfer the cut bananas into the coconut milk,stirring occasionally and cook  for 7-10 minutes in a very low flame.
 Dry roast the grated coconut for garnishing.
 Transfer the banana in coconut milk to bowls.
Garnish with roasted grated coconut and serve warm or slightly chilled.

Even I browsed this recipe and wanted to make it, but later just left, Tot would do it later lolz, coz the recipe called for coconut cream everywhere. Hence u took this recipe i'll try out something different for the event :) Nicely done asiya :)
