Rice Pakodas / Fritters

This rice pakodas is a delicious snack at any time of the day. This is quick and easy to make and serve hot for more taste.

left over cooked rice - 5-6 tbsp
thick yogurt (dahi) - 3 tbsp
gram flour -4- 5 tbsp
chopped ginger - 1 tbsp
chopped green chilli - 2
coriander seed (crushed ) - half tsp
oil - to fry
salt - to taste.

Serves - 3

Steps to follow:
Take cooked rice in a bowl add yogurt. Mix well and keep aside.

 Add gram flour also.
Then add chopped ginger, chillies, coriander leaves ,coriander seeds and salt to taste.
Mix well altogether. Consistency should be thick to make pakodas.
Heat oil in a kadai, take a spoon full of  mix  and drop in hot oil. Do the same with whole batter.
Deep fry the pakodas till golden brown.
Transfer the pakodas to  tissue paper to get rid of the excess oil.

Serve hot with coconut chutney or tomato sauce.
