Quick and tasty breakfast dish .Try this dish with left over bread, very simple to cook.
bread slices - 4
chopped onion - 1
chopped tomato - 1
Oil - 1 tbsp
mustard seeds - quarter tsp
curry leaves - few
chopped green chilli -1
turmeric,coriander and red chilli powder - each quarter tsp
chopped few coriander leaves to garnish.
salt - to taste.
Serves - 1-2
Steps to follow:
Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds,curry leaves when it splutters add chopped green chillies.Then add chopped onion,stir well till it turns pink colour. Add chopped tomatoes and stir again add little water,and add all spice powders,salt and let it cook for few minutes till tomatoes soften.
Cut the bread slices into small pieces and add,stir well till bread absorbs all the water making it soft.
Yummy bread upma is ready to serve.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
