Paneer Jalfrezi

This is simple delicious healthy veg recipe.The paneer used in this recipe is Indian Paneer which can be bought at any Indian stores or tofu can also be used in its place.

paneer cubes - 200 gm
green capsicum - small - 1
oil - 2- 3 tbsp
onion chopped - 1
ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
red chilli powder - 1 tsp
corinader powder - 1 tsp
turmeric, cumin powder - each half tsp
dried kasoori methi - 1 tsp
fresh cream -  1-2 tbsp
tomato puree ( 2 medium size tomatoes boiled ,peeled,pureed) - 1 cup
chopped coriander leaves - 2 tbsp (garnish)
salt - to taste.

Serves - 4
Steps to follow:

 Dip the paneer cube in the cold water.
 After few minutes cut into small cubes.

 Get ready with chopped capsicum, onion,coriander and tomato puree.
 These are the masalas we are going to use here.
 Heat oil in a pan saute chopped onion till translucent,add gg paste and saute again for a minute in a medium flame.
 Then add chopped green capsicum and salt to taste ,saute well.
 Add all masalas.
 Sprinkle some water and let altogether cook for another 5 minutes.
 Add tomato puree.Mix well.
 let it boil for 2 minutes.
 Add paneer cubes and mix well.Check salt.
 cook the paneer for only one  to two  minutes in low flame.
 Then for taste and richness add fresh cream and mix well.This is optional only.
 Add chopped coriander and serve hot with steamed rice or chappathi or naan.
