Nonbu Kanji Podi / Porridge Spice Mix Powder

Most traditional households use individual spices which are freshly ground and mixed,as needed.This is mild,but you can adjust to suit your taste.
cumin seed - 1 tsp
fennel seed - half tsp
fenugreek - half tsp
cardamom -2
cloves- 2
cinnamon - small piece.

Put the spices in a small blender  and grind to a fine powder.
For making Iftar Porridge.
you can make this powder in bulk and store it in an air tight jar  for 1-2 months.

this is so new to me... when we make nombu kanji, we just add the raw spices... this makes things easier! :)
