penne pasta - 200 gm
bechamel ready rmix - 75 gm + 500 ml milk.
boneless chicken pieces - 200 gm or more
shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese or parmesan cheese.- 100 gm or more to taste
chopped capsicum - 1
chopped onion - 1
chopped garlic - 1 tbsp
chicken soup cube - 1
oil - 2 tbsp
salt and pepper to taste
chopped parsley to garnish .
Serves - 4
Steps to follow:
In a vessel add enough water, allow it to boil, then add pasta, salt and 1 tsp oil, cook for 8 -10 minutes,Drain and keep aside.
How to prepare bechamel sauce:
In a sauce pan add milk and bechamel mix, mix well with out lumps,Switch on the stove slowly mix until the sauce thickens to the required consistency.Add pepper powder to taste and keep aside.
Then heat oil in a pan add chopped onion and garlic,stir well, add chopped capsicum and saute well.
Add chicken pieces and saute again for a minute.Add powdered soup cube and mix well, Sprinkle little water and cook for a minute, add ground pepper to taste and switch off.
In a baking bowl add half of the cooked pasta then half of the bechamel sauce and stir fried chicken.Again
next layer add pasta, bechamel sauce and chicken and finally topped with your favourite cheese.
Preheat oven to 250 degree or medium temperature , put the bowl in the oven and cooked for 20 minutes.
Enjoy the finger licking delicious chicken pasta with bechamel sauce. This is my kids most favourite Italian recipe.
