Spicy Pepper Soup:
It is also known as Milagu-tanni. Milagu means pepper and tanni means water.
If you like to serve an Indian meal in several courses, this will awaken the appetite and also a high soothing broth for winter seasons.
oil - 2 tbsp
freshly ground black pepper - 2 tsp
cumin seeds - 1 tsp
mustard seeds - half tsp
asafoetida - quarter tsp
whole red chillies - 4
curry leaves - few
garlic cloves crushed - 2
water - 1/2 - one cup
tomato juice - one and half cup
lemon juice from medium size lemon
chopped coriander leaves to garnish
salt to taste.
Duration - 20 minutes.
Serves - 2 -3.
Steps to follow:
Get ready with all the ingredients.
If you prefer you can strain the soup and serve.
