Fish is delicious as well as naturally low in fat and cholesterol.
No Indian meal is complete without rice. Briyani is the most popular way to serve rice, for special occasions.
basmati rice - 500 gm
king fish pieces - 8
oil to shallow fry(marinate the fish with 1 tsp chilli powder,1/2 tsp turmeric powder.1/2 tbsp gg paste, and salt to taste,then make a mixture egg - 1,corn flour - 3 tsp, pepper powder - 1/4 tsp,dip the marinated fish in the mixture and shallow fry the fish.
oil - 100 ml
ghee - 25- 50 ml
sliced onion - 150 gm
ginger garlic paste -1 and half and half tbsp
sliced tomatoes - 150 gm
fresh yogurt - 3 -4 tbsp
green chillies - 3
chopped corinader & mint leaves - half cup
garam masala - 1 tsp (cardamom,cinnamon and clove powder)
chilli powder 1 tsp
fennel,cumin powder - each 1/4 tsp
pinch orange red colour or 2 pinch saffron dissolved in milk
salt - to taste.

Steps to follow:
Mix and marinate the fish with 1 tsp chilli powder,1/2 tsp turmeric powder.1/2 tbsp gg paste, and salt to taste.Keep aside for half an hour - 1 hour.Soak rice in enough water for half an hour.
Mean while boil enough water, salt in a vessel cook the rice to 80 percentage and drain it and keep aside.
In the bottom of the pan with remaining masala, arrange half of the fried fish pieces.
Cover the vessel with aluminium foil and keep a pan at the bottom of the briyani vessel to avoid burning. Simmer the flame and let it stand for 10 -15 minutes.Switch off the flame.
Delicious Fish Briyani is ready and serve hot with onion raitha.
