I sincerely thank each and everyone who supported me throughout this event and encouraged through comments.
Our food bloggers shared some of their delicious recipes in My First Event -"Feast of Sacrifice Event". Please go through all the recipes linked by them. I hope that these recipes will be a great feast to all. It was a stunning experience for me to go through plenty of recipes I received.
I requested Mrs. Mano Saminathan to be the judge of this event and she humbly agreed. She is well known among food bloggers. She took lot of effort and worked hard to evaluate all 143 recipes and finally selected the winners. My heartfelt thanks Akka.
Few words about my favourite Mano Akka.
Mrs Mano Saminathan is a lover of all forms of arts since her childhood. She has learnt Carnatic music and is passionate about painting landscapes. In her teens she fell in love with the art of cooking. Her interaction with people from many states in India provided her the opportunity to try the various recipes of the states. In UAE, her passion for music, reading, painting and cooking has kept developing. Her life-partner runs a South Indian Restaurant for over 25 years in U.A.E and her son is a Post Graduate in Hotel Management from Switzerland. Their culinary knowledge and appreciation further encouraged her to enjoy the art of cooking.
Her thirst for learning hasn’t diminished even in her mature 60’s.
Her recipes are posted in www.mayyam.com with the title ‘Mrs.Mano’s Tamilnadu Delicacies’ and has 1.2 million viewer since 2004 till date and also in www.arusuvai.com. She cherishes her experience as a judge along with cookery experts Mrs.Revathy Shanmugam and Kalaiselvi Chokkalingam for a cookery competition held in Nagapattinam, Tamilnadu.

Now Pass on to Mano Akka's Words...
When my friend Asiya asked me to act as a judge for a cookery competition, I really hesitated to accept it though I have years of experience and some culinary knowledge in this field.
In this blog world, with striking photographs and stunning recipes, I think that everybody is an expert in her/ his own way. Hence finding the best seemed the toughest job for me. Then Asiya's enthusiasm and my inner thirst to find more and more recipes made me accept this challenge.
