Murgh Mutter Paneer

This curry has a nice thick sauce can be served either with chappathis or plain rice.This dish provides a good source of protien.

Ingredients:
chicken - 150 gm
frozen or fresh peas- half cup
paneer - 100 gm
ginger garlic paste - 1tsp
fresh yogurt - 1 tbsp
tomato sauce - 2 tsp
chilli powder - half-1 tsp ( as per taste)
coriander powder - 1tsp
turmeric powder- quarter tsp
cinnamon - 1 small piece
cardamom - 3
slitted green chilli - 1
chopped corainder leaves- 2 tbsp
oil- 1 tbsp
salt - to taste.
(Serves- 2-3 )



In a bowl add ginger garlic paste,cardamom,cinnamon, chilli,turmeric,coriander powders,yogurt,tomato sauce,salt and mix well.




In a pan heat oil add, the masala paste and slitted green chilli, stir well then add cleaned cut chicken pieces and let it cook for five minutes.


Then add peas and cook for another five- 10 minutes.Close the lid and cook in medium flame.


Then add the paneer cubes, mix well and sprinkle little water , cook for another 5-7 minutes.


Add chopped coriander and stir well and switch off the flame.


Serve garnish with chopped corainder leaves. Wow!!! This is an unusual combo,but it really tastes well. Serve with fried rice,plain rice, chappathi,naan and bread.
