Tandoori Chicken Roast

chicken pieces- 750gm
lime juice - 1 tbsp
fresh thick yogurt - 3 tsp
ginger garlic paste - 3 tsp
garam masala - quarter - half tsp
chilli powder - 1tsp
pepper powder - 1tsp
coriander powder - 1tsp
oil - 3 tbsp
butter - 1-2 tsp(optional)
salt - to taste.
Clean and wash the chicken pieces thoroughly and drain it.Add lime juice and salt mix well.Marinate for half an hour.

Then to the marinated chicken add ginger garlic paste, yogurt, garam masala,chilli powder,pepper powder,coriander powder and little salt.( or if you have ready made tandoori masala you can add 3tsp ) Mix well and again marinate for 2 hours.

Heat oil in a pan,add the marinated chicken.

Close the lid and cook in medium flame till the chicken pieces turns to brown.or Preheat the grill to medium grill the chicken pieces for half an hour turning in between..Before serving apply little butter to it.

Serve hot.Enjoy !

great tip here for tandhoori chicken, otherwise it will take about an hout if we directly cook them in the oven.Will try this method next time.
