Easy Shami Kebab

minced mutton - 250 gm
channa dal - 50 gm
ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
yogurt - 1 tsp
chilli powder - half tsp
turmeric powder - half tsp
cumin powder - quarter tsp
fennel powder - quarter tsp
pepper powder -quarter tsp
garam masala - half tsp
chopped onion - 1
chopped green chilli - 2
chopped mint & cilantro - each one tbsp
egg - 1
oil - to fry
salt - to taste.

Steps to follow:
Wash the minced meat well and drain it.
Cook the minced meat adding salt,yogurt,ginger garlic paste,karam masala,chilli powder and turmeric powder in a vessel.
Soak the channa dal for one hour and grind to paste.

Add cooked minced meat,grounded chana dal,egg,chopped onion,chopped chilli,chopped coriander,mint,pepper powder,cumin powder,fennel powder and salt to taste.
Knead well.Take a lemon size ball and shape into round or oval shape.

Heat oil in a pan and shallow deep fry the kababs until both sides turns into brown colour.

Now the delicious Easy Shami kabab is ready to serve.

Serve with cut onions, lemon wedges and mint chutney or tomato sauce.
