Clean and wash the fish pieces, drain water and keep aside.
Cut onions,tomatoes garlic cloves and slit the green chillies.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard,fenugreek,cumin seeds and curry leaves.When it splutters add chillies,small onions and tomatoes.Add little salt and stir well.
Add chilli,turmeric and cumin powder and stir for a minute.Then add tamarind juice.Let it boil for few minutes until the raw smell goes.
Then add the fish pieces and salt to taste.
Add chopped cilantro leaves and switch off the stove.
